Around this time last year the City of Cape Town approved the sale of Clifton land near Maiden’s Cove HERE and two days ago they revealed the proposed plans for what will be developed there. The City will be unlocking R1,5 billion for the Clifton Precinct Development Plan and have included a breakdown of the proposed upgrades like a boardwalk from Clifton to Camps Bay, 52 residential properties, a hotel, retail stores and restaurants.
Here’s how they plan on spending some of the money.
The city also plans to allocate 10% of the financial offer to near-inner City housing projects.
