The Fifa match-fixing scandal investigation is still going strong and latest news is that former South African Football Association CEO Leslie Sedibe has been banned for 5 years and fined over R300 000. Sedibe says he has moved on from soccer though and has suggested he is being sabotaged by Safa. He has threaten legal action and i’m guessing that if he thinks he is the scapegoat then he has some secrets and names to use as backup.
Fifa has also banned two other South Africans, Steve Goddard and Adeel Carelse (former head of referees) for corruption.
Sedibe issued this statement though as a response to the Fifa ban.
Can’t wait for him to drop names.
