There’s making money and then there’s making R49 billion in a single day. Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page each added $4 billion to their individual fortunes in a day after Google posted a 16% increase in the price of shares on Friday increasing the companies worth by $51 billion in 24 hours…the the biggest ever one-day creation of wealth in U.S. history.
Swimming. Always amazes me that people who acquire such vast fortune just don’t quit, retire and live on a beach somewhere. They will have enough money to last centuries, but they chose to keep going. I guess i will never understand the thought process behind it until i’m in their shoes.
