Ah yes…what would social media be without a weekly lesson in how not to embarrass yourself, offend your followers or shame your brand hey. Last week we had the US Airways account send out the now infamous vadgeplane tweet HERE and today we have a local example from one of SA’s leading banks. RbJacobs, better known as the FNB Guy, is busy doing some serious apologising to everyone on Twitter for sending out the following tweet earlier.
Yes..clearly his response didn’t go down very well and it was promptly deleted.
How he read that before hitting send and not realise that it was innappropriate we will never know.
At least he didn’t post a pic of himself with a R100 note in his back door ATM.
