I’ve covered plenty of brand fails and social media meltdowns, but this one is possibly the greatest lesson in how not to handle a PR disaster. You see the owners of Arizona restaurant, Amy’s Baking Company Bakery Boutique & Bistro, decided they would take it upon themselves to answer critics and people who made negative comments on their Facebook page. Clearly nobody explained to them that feeding the internet trolls is the very last thing they should do and instead they did the exact opposite by getting more and more angry…so much so that it made it onto Reddit and then it all went to sh*t for them.
To put things into context..the owners of the bakery, Amy and Sam Bouzaglo, were on Gordon Ramsey’s show and their behaviour was critised. They then took to Facebook to clear things up and that’s were it started going pear shaped. Here’s a few of their futile attempts at damage control.

They have stopped posting now, but i wonder how they are gonna recover. Either that or they pulled off the greatest troll reversals to date.
