It’s in it’s 4th year already and if you don’t know what Net Prophet is then let me shed some light with this impressive little explanation.
“Take the most innovative/successful/creative/ambitious thinkers and entrepreneurs in the Internet space, and ask them to share their stories, ideas and predictions for the future in a format that is fresh, relevant and engaging. The result: Net Prophet.”
Are you one of those people they are talking about? Well you could be, especially if you took their combined knowledge and listened to what they have to say. And the best part..it’s absolutely free to attend.
Net Prophet was started in Cape Town, by the RAMP Foundation – a non-profit entity created by the RAMP Group as a means for social investment within the local Internet based economy. This years event will be held on the 8th May at Old Mutual Business Park in Pinelands and judging by the success of last years event you’d be wise to register as soon as possible since it fills up rapidly. Every event in the past has been completely full.
Sponsored by Old Mutual, RSAWEB and Saratoga, the 2012 Net Prophet event promises to bring together the brightest minds and leading technology entrepreneurs in the country. Last year saw Matthew Buckland, Geoff Cohen, Nikki Cockcroft, Richard Mulholland, Jason Xenopoulos, Seth Rotherham and other successfully creative people dish out some valuable wisdom.
The line up for this year hasn’t been revealed just yet, but you can pretty much guarantee it will be worth your while booking a seat.
So what are you waiting for.. register now at www.netprophet.org.za and start visualising about being a speaker next year.
