One of the little girl statues along the Sea Point promenade has been completely destroyed in what appears to be an act of vandalism.
The statues formed part of a public art installation called “Walking the Road” by artist Marieke Prinsloo Rowe HERE.
This from a reader who went for a walk this morning.
Come now people. That is a disgrace. I have never been a huge fan of those statues, but completely destroying them is pathetic.
This is what it used to look like.
Hope they catch the person responsible and tie them to one of the other statues so that all those Sea Point tannies can get medieval on their ass.
