Google Glass Elevator: around the world in 80 seconds
Posted by on Feb 12th, 2010

I want one.

This is what the Google engineers get up to in their spare time.

Using the mapping technology of Google Earth, the developers created Google Liquid Galaxy. A “glass elevator” with wrap around LCD screens.

“With the Liquid Galaxy, we could fly through the Grand Canyon, leap into low-Earth orbit, and come back down to perch on the Great Pyramid of Giza without even breaking a sweat,” said creator Jason Holt.

Awesome.

Someone get into that thing and do a flybye of Cape Town..over Robben Island toward Table Mountain and then land on Camps Bay.

Good times.
