Pepper Club on the Beach

Those of you walking around in Camps Bay may have noticed a new sign up along the strip..

I walked past yesterday and snapped a couple of pics ( sorry for the lightpost in the background..couldn’t get around it) and found out its a new exclusive restaurant  where Summerville Restaurant (*cough*kak service*cough) used to be.

I went upstairs and the manager kindly let me have a peek inside and i must say it looks the business. Top class finishes, spacious, unparrelleled views of the ocean and a state-of -the-art bar lounge with some seriously expensive looking leather couches. I had a sneak at the wine list and the menu, but ill let you know what its like when i get a chance to eat there.

I did some digging and found that the Pepper Club on the Beach is part of the 5 star luxury hotel and spa in the city developed by the Solomon Brothers.

“The 700m2 Pepper Club on the Beach will have a fine dining restaurant, a stylish cocktail bar and a classy night spot – all overlooking Camps Bay beach. Guests of the Pepper Club hotel will be shuttled to and from the beach club. Although Pepper Club on the Beach will be open to all, discerning guests of the hotel will enjoy preferential seating at the restaurant, VIP entrance at the night spot, guaranteed parking opposite the beach and exclusive use of the beach club’s restroom facilities, which include private lockers, changing rooms and showers.” [iol.co.za]

The Pepper Club Hotel and Spa in the city also screams of luxury and i went to the website and i wouldn’t say no to a room there. (hint..)

Just click the logo for a jump to the website and more info like phone numbers, fax, bookings etc.
