Australia removes "racist" cookie from shops
Posted by on Oct 29th, 2009

Ozzies are taking things a bit far. Again.

A cookie called ” Creole Creams” has been deemed “racist” and has been removed from shelves. The biscuit looks like a slightly less dark version of Oreo cookies, but its the name that has been causing an uproar.

Sam Watson, Deputy director of the University of Queensland’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander studies, had this little gem to say about the cookie.

“The word Creole comes from a period when people’s humanity was measured by the amount of white blood they had in their bloodstream.”

Just incase you weren’t taking him seriously he then unleashed this  magnificent example of batsh*t crazy talk:

“This is the same kind of thought that underpinned horrific regimes like the Nazis.” [9NEWS]

Its a damn biscuit dude. Have a Coke and a smile….. and a Milky Bar. Oops. My bad.
