No Banner to display

I was gonna go through a whole long explanation about why you should advertise on Life is Savage, but i reckon it’s a safe bet that you already know what you’re doing and you don’t need me to tell you that digital advertising is the way forward.

If you wanna know detailed stats then you can email me at , but the latest stats for February 2013 show that over 100 000 absolute unique visitors viewed the site and it recieved over 200 000 page impressions. Not bad for a month that only has 28 days hey.  The average age demographic of readers is between 25-34 and the majority are from South Africa and only slightly more females than males read it on a daily basis.

As for rates these are the available ad spaces.

A: 468×60 above the header visible across entire site:  R3500/month

B: 336×336 top sidebar visible across entire site:          R3500/month

C: 160×160 small sidebar visible across entire site:       R1000/month

D: 468×60 below the post visible under each article:    R4000/month

E: 250×250 below excerpts on main page:                       R2500/month each

Background takeover: R15 000/month

If the ad spaces are already occupied then send me an email and i’ll let you know how long they are being occupied for. No dodgy ads will be allowed and the small 160×160 ads in the sidebar are limited and i’ll position them at my discretion.

As a matter of interest the most expensive ad space at R3000/month works out to about R4 an hour. Just saying.

And of course i’ll throw the name of your product around on Twitter and Facebook etc. so that you get the extra social media exposure and what not.

Don’t be shy though to send me a message so we can work something out. I’m always willing to create new partnerships and explore options to see how we can help each other.

Impressive statistics. 85 000 page views a month.
Why not put a counter on the site so we can see the hits the site gets.. as the site gets it?

Hi Team,

We at Groupon would love to sponsor you guys with a killer prize (deal) to give away on your blog. It could be done in the same format as your FUGU sushi platter competition.

We could either give you guys say R500 in Groupon credits for the winner to spend on our website, or give you one of the deals running on the site at that given time.

Let us know if this interests you, as we are able to run from the beginning of June 2012.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Kind Regards,

My name is Jen Searle and I’m the digital editor for Edgars Club. It’s currently Edgars Club’s 25th birthday and we’re interesting in running a sponsored post on Bangers and Nash.

Is this something that you would consider? If so, please do send the following to me:

Your blog post rate and what that includes. For example, will you share the sponsored post on other social media platforms too and if not, what rate you would charge to include additional platforms.
Please may I request your stats on the various platforms as well as your unique browsers and page impressions for your blog.

Please could you also send through your timelines for sponsored posts and Please can you advise the average number of page impressions you usually receive on your sponsored blog posts.

Thanks and kind regards

Hi Daddy

I love your posts.

I am looking at creating a new website/blog. I have just read your advertising price list.

What I am confused about is that comments on your website seem so old. Do you plan on updating your website at all? I also read once about your FB page stats, which do find performs better, your website or your FB page.

Also, when you repost videos straight from Youtube do you have to acknowledge anybody in any other ways?

I would love to hear back from somebody who has such an incredible setup.

Comment date stamp error has been a mystery from the start. No idea why that happened
