Marketing win of the day goes to the folks at Volkswagen who used some sneaky guerilla advertising tactics to create an ad for the new Caravelle. If you remember last week media headlines were reporting that nearly R9 million was spent on purchasing 11 cars for President Jacob Zuma’s wives.
Well clearly VW seized the opportunity to throw in some cheeky social commentary and created this full page newspaper ad soon after the Zuma story broke.
