Earlier in the week anti-apartheid activist and former political prisoner Ahmed Kathrada wrote a public letter to Zuma HERE asking him to step down and now another ANC stalwart has come forward and urged the SA President to resign. Former finance minister Trevor Manuel told Tim Modise on Soweto TV that “A violation of the key oath of office of the Head of State‚ which I think is a deep crisis. I think it’s in all of our interests that the president actually steps aside”.
