SA’s Wayde Van Niekerk is the first sprinter in the world to pull off this triple achievement
Posted by on Mar 14th, 2016

Just a week after South Africa’s Akani Simbine set the fastest 100m time this year HERE, another South African has made sprinting history. Wayde Van Niekerk has become the first sprinter in history to run under 10 seconds for the 100 meters, under 20 seconds for the 200 meters and under 44 seconds for the 400 meters. No other athlete has achieved that. Ever.
