French bakery-cafe chain PAUL is coming to South Africa

We’ve already had Domino’s Pizza open several franchises in South Africa and soon Krispy Kreme donuts will open its first store in Rosebank. Next year see’s the arrival of Starbucks HERE and now comes news that French bakery chain PAUL will also be opening several stores in SA. If you’ve been to France you will no doubt have seen the PAUL bakeries and cafes…there are 400 of them.

The PAUL bakeries have been licenced by Famous Brands in SA and their are plans to open 5 stores.

“Established in 1889 in Croix, in Northern France, Paul has already laid a trail of chic and delicious stores across Europe, Africa, Asia, America and the Middle East, and is now represented in 41 countries.”

“n terms of the agreement, Famous Brands will open five restaurants over a five-year period in three trading formats. The first flagship Paul restaurant is scheduled to open by the end of 2016.” [Citizen]
