Students campaigning against increased fees at the University of Cape Town yesterday kept protesting well into the night and occupied the Bremner Building on the campus. Police moved in around midnight and stun grenades were used to disperse the crowds. Here’s amateur footage of the stun grenades going off.

Classes at UCT have been suspended until further notice and a few protestors have gathered this morning setting up barricades. This was apparently just after 6am this morning.
