Playboy will stop printing nude pics of women in the magazine from March 2016
Posted by on Oct 13th, 2015

As of March 2016 you really will be reading Playboy magazine for the articles only because the iconic magazine will stop publishing images of naked women from that date onward. The men’s lifestyle and tittyball entertainment magazine was founded in Chicago in 1953 by Hugh Hefner. It reached a print circulation of 5.6 million at its peak in 1975, but is currently only 800 000 today.

The current editor approached Hugh Hefner with the idea of ending nudes in the magazine recently and Hef said it’s time.

“Playboy Magazine has decided to stop publishing photographs of fully nude models in its print edition, The New York Times first reported on Monday.

Hugh Hefner, the publication’s founder and editor-in-chief, agreed with the decision, which was conceived by Playboy chief content officer Cory Jones.” [Huffington Post]
