Fail of the day goes to Fifa ex-vice president, Jack Warner, who is at the centre of corruption charges involving top level football officials. If he wasn’t already having a kak time then he is now after citing an article from The Onion in his defence. The Onion is a famous satirical publication that basically just makes sh*t up. Warner posted a Facebook video of himself talking about the charges and at around the 5 min mark whips out a printout of The Onion article stating ‘FIFA Frantically Announces 2015 Summer World Cup In United States’. While holding the printout he asks ‘if Fifa is so bad then why is it that the USA wants to keep the Fifa world cup?’
Here’s the full video he posted. Fail at the 5 min mark.
Dude is not winning right now.
