Uproar after 74 yr old SA crossing guard banned from high fiving kids in Scotland
Posted by on Mar 2nd, 2015

Nkosana Mdikane, a 74 year old South African working as a crossing guard outside a school in Scotland has been ordered by the local municipality to stop high-fiving kids due to safety concerns. Dubbed ‘Scotland’s happiest lollipop man’, parents at the school have started an online petition to reverse the stupid municipal order. I think they already reached their goal of getting 10 000 signatures, but it won’t hurt if we add some more hey. Let’s help a brother out and get him back to spreading happiness. Mdikane moved to Scotland in 2003 and got bored of being retired so he started working as a crossing guard.

Here’s a video of Mdikane asking for the order to be reversed.

Awesome..dude is 74 years old and just wants to make people happy. We need more people like him in the world.

HERE‘s the petition if you wanna add your signature.
