Canadian hockey player fails miserably when asked about Nelson Mandela during interview [video]
Posted by on Dec 12th, 2014

If you’re a long time Life is Savage reader then you will know that Canada is my second home. So i simply had to share this video of a famous ice hockey player who was born in the same neighbourhood where i normally stay in Montreal. Jonathan Bernier, the goalie for the Toronto Maple Leafs, was recently interviewed at a Nelson Mandela tribute event and the dude failed miserably when sharing his thoughts on the great man. No clue so he just made some sh*t up and rolled with it.

Mandela was the most well known athlete in the world. Did not know that.

Good effort there pal.

it’s Ok! man Mandela in fact was a champion boxer, and a world champion political statesman, gets a heavyweight belt better than Ghandi or MLK and we are not offended only you press people are becayse no South African would know who Mario Lemieux, Wayne Gretsky or Gordy Howe are, most people in the world have never heard if Nelson Mandela
