Nowadays everyone with a smartphone and a filter app can pretty much take a decent photograph, but not many can claim to sell their work for some decent cash hey. Landscape photographer, Peter Lik, is the exception…he just sold one of his pics for a staggering $6.5 million. Lik broke the world record for most expensive photograph ever sold when his black and white image of Antelope Canyon in Arizona sold to a private collector two days ago.
Here’s the photograph titled ‘Phantom’, worth a mindblowing R75 million.
Yes..R75 million for that. Not only did he sell that image, but the same collector bought two other photo’s from him for $2.4 million and $1.1 million.
