The upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is already not going down well in geek circles and now they pretty much pissed off everyone after someone had the not-so-clever idea to use a movie poster promoting the release on September 11. What’s wrong with that you ask? Well maybe they should never have used the image of the 4 turtles falling from a burning building in New York. In theatres on Sept 11.
The poster has been removed, but not before plenty of screenshots were taken from the Paramount Studios account.
I guess you could make a case for a publicity stunt, but if that is a deliberately executed stunt then that’s some sad sh*t on the PR brigade responsible. Shame on them.
