23 yr old student gets R7 million school tender, says her department of education mom has nothing to do with it
Posted by on Feb 25th, 2014

In other yaaaaaaa-riiiiight news, a 23 year old student who got a R7.7 million tender to supply food to schools in Limpopo says her mom, who is the provincial education department’s special projects manager that runs the government’s school nutrition programme, has nothing to do with it.

All together now…’suuuuuuuuuure’.

Oh and her mother’s brother was also awarded a R5.6 million tender to feed pupils. Throw in an extra eye-roll and a headshake for that.

And get this…she said she doesn’t know what her mother does.

“A 23-year-old student awarded a R7.7 million tender to supply food to Limpopo schools insists her mother’s senior job in the provincial education department had nothing to with it,”

“Her mother is Lily Kekana, the department’s special projects manager who oversees its schools nutrition programme”

“I didn’t even know where she was working. I knew that she was employed by the department of education, but I don’t know what she does there,”  [News24]

Excuse me i can’t hear you over how
