SA police terrorising tavern patrons captured on CCTV…again [video]
Posted by on Nov 14th, 2013

Unneccessary South African police brutality has reared it’s ugly head once again as CCTV footage from a tavern in Mpumalanga shows several officers kicking, beating and abusing patrons.

According to reports “Some cops who had gone out came back in and started beating the men. One officer grabbed a pool cue and hit people with it until the cue broke in half. Other officers forced men to lie on the ground. They were stomped on with heavy police boots while a cop splashed booze over the men on the floor. Another cop started hitting people with an empty beer crate.”

Warning -may upset sensitive viewers.

The Daily Sun says the incident took place on October 26.

I know we don’t praise our police force enough for keeping us safe on a daily basis, but incidents like this don’t exactly do them any favours or strengthen public admiration and respect. Neither do previous incidents like THIS and THIS also captured on video.
