Ok i’m not culinary expert, but i do know who Heston Blumenthal is and i thought you foodies would get a kick out of this news. The chef who runs The Fat Duck (voted best restaurant in world in 2005) in the UK was recently voted chef of the decade and in an interview he was asked where else he would open like to open a restaurant…his response “I would love to open a restaurant in South Africa, too. We are looking into it because I’ve got relatives there and will be spending time there.”
Blumenthal is considered a molecular gastronomist that uses a scientific approach to cooking.
What’s the bet it will be in Cape Town.
