iPhone sales in the past year made more money than Coca Cola and McDonalds combined [graphic]

I’m not an Apple Inc junkie hey…don’t have an iPhone or a Macbook. Only device from them i have is an iPad Mini. Whil i used to be a longterm Blackberry user i only recently switched to having a Samsung Galaxy S4. I’m more than happy with that smartphone, but i just saw a graphic showing why many consider the iPhone to be the most successful branded product…ever.

Get this…in the last 12 months, iPhone sales made more money than Coco-Cola and McDonalds combined. Yes you read that correctly…the money made from selling just iPhones is more that the total combined revenue of what Coca-Cola and McD’s made in the last year.

I shall give credit where credit is due…that is mindblowing.

Crazy…the iPhone racked up $88.4 billion in sales. Making more money than Microsoft, Amazon, Comcast, or Google. Not only that, “If this single product (the iPhone) were its own company in the Standard & Poor’s 500-stock index, IPhone Inc. would outsell 474 of those companies”

Businessweek has another graphic showing where the iPhone would sit on the Dow Jones industrial index. Go check that similarly ridiculous comparison HERE.
