If you’re afraid of flying then i’d suggest you don’t watch this video. A civilian cargo aircraft crashed at Bagram Air Field near the Afghan capital Kabul on Monday, killing all seven people aboard and the dramatic footage was captured on a dashboard camera of someone driving nearby. The incident happened just after take-off and shows the plane apparently stalling before crashing.
Warning – the footage shows the plane exploding so not for sensitive viewers.
Initial reports were that the Taliban claimed responsibility, but that has been dismissed and the cause is still being investigated. According to one of the comments “The Boeing 747-428BCF (Boeing Converted Freighter) based on communications from the crew after takeoff indicate that the accident resulted from a catastrophic load shift & a high aft center of gravity condition. The resulting pitch-up caused the airplane to stall with insufficient height above the ground for recovery.”
Dunno how the driver of the car stayed so calm.
