Venom GT shatters world record for fastest production car to accelerate from 0-300km/h [video]

Havn’t done a car post in a while, but this is most definitely worthy hey. Prior to this morning i had never heard of the Hennessey Venom GT. Bet you didn’t either, but the 1244bhp Texan made supercar has made headlines in the automotive industry because last month the Venom GT shattered the Guinness World record for fast production vehicle from 0-300km/h. It took just 13.63 seconds to hit that speed.

And it’s rather easy on the eye as well.

Now before you press play on the record breaking run just think what it’s like in your car when you put your foot flat on the gas and how long it takes to get to 150km/h.

Now have a look at this.

The makers of the vehicle reckon if they are allowed to use the track where the Bugatti Veyron set the top speed record they can easily beat it.

I want one.

Anyone got R12.5 million to spot me.

WOW … that looks SUPER HOT !

But then again testing it on a straight with no taxis anywhere is a REAL BONUS !
