Jodie Foster’s emotional coming out speech at the Golden Globes [video]
Posted by on Jan 14th, 2013

The 2013 Golden Globes has just ended in the US and while there are plenty of highlights, a few surprises and some poor wardrobe choices…everyone will be talking about Jodie Foster today and her acceptance speech after she recieved the Cecil B. DeMille Award  for her “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment”. Without actually saying the words ‘I’m gay’, Foster pretty much acknowledged that she always has been.

“I guess I have a sudden urge to say something that I’ve never been able to air in public that I’m a little nervous about — but maybe not as nervous as my publicist,” Foster nervously began. “So I’m just going to put it out there, loud and proud, right? I’m going to need your support on this.”

A tad unconventional, but hey…now you know.

She had plenty of A-list celebrities in tears.
