• Americans not gonna like PSY anymore after they found out he once sang ‘Kill those f**king Yankees’

Your useless Monday morning celebrity gossip comes courtesy of PSY and his Gangnam style song which is close to hitting the billion views mark on Youtube (yes a billion) making it the most watched and viral video of all time. Americans loved that sh*t, but maybe not anymore it seems since they found out that PSY sang a song back in 2004 with lyrics that went a little something like this…“Kill those f**king Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives Kill those f**king Yankees…Kill them all slowly and painfully”.

    Hop hop…ya not so much.

Don’t think the folks in the US are gonna appreciate that even after he apologized over the weekend.

    PSY dear american

PSY and some other Korean singers performed that song during an anti-Iraq war protest concert in 2004.

    And here’s his apology.

“As a proud South Korean who was educated in the United States and lived there for a very significant part of my life, I understand the sacrifices American servicemen and women have made to protect freedom and democracy in my country and around the world. The song I featured on in question from eight years ago – was part of a deeply emotional reaction to the war in Iraq and the killing of two Korean schoolgirls that was part of the overall antiwar sentiment shared by others around the world at that time.  While I’m grateful for the freedom to express one’s self, I’ve learned there are limits to what language is appropriate and I’m deeply sorry for how these lyrics could be interpreted. I will forever be sorry for any pain I have caused by those words.

“I have been honored to perform in front of American soldiers in recent months – including an appearance on the Jay Leno show specifically for them-  and I hope they and all Americans can accept my apology. While it’s important that we express our opinions, I deeply regret the inflammatory and inappropriate language I used to do so. In my music, I try to give people a release, a reason to smile. I have learned that thru music, our universal language we can all come together as a culture of humanity and I hope that you will accept my apology.”[ New Yorker]

PSY met President Obama this morning as well apparently..no word if they discussed the romantic ballad he sang to Americans back in 2004.

Oh and on a side note..the Gangnam Style video thats approaching a billion views has reportedly netted PSY a rather tidy $8 million.

Maybe Psy should really recall that the reason he is even capable to make such a tunes video is due to People. (If he has trouble piecing that with each other, a short program in Korean background will enlighten him). Certainly, he’s from South Korea; nonetheless, he also publicly revealed his desires to get a gradual unpleasant demise to all American soldiers as well as their families. How does his geography change the fact that he hates The united states?
