New domestic airline Fly Go-Air to offer a free flight every 6 flights you make
Posted by on Oct 18th, 2012

Given the kak Velvet Sky, 1Time and SAA has been through in the past year it’s rather surprising that a new domestic airline is set to take to the skies in just over a month. Fly Go-Air is set start operating on Nov 26 this year and i wasn’t gonna write anything about it until i found a few rather noteworthy things that may interest you folks. First up is their offer of a VIP loyalty programme where for every six flights taken you qualify for a free flight. You also get to fly free on your birthday. Cape Town folks will be very interested to know that Fly Go-Air also has plans to offer a direct flight from CT to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport..the airport that serves travellers to the Kruger National Park. So hopefully no more flights to Joburg and then renting a car to drive to Kruger.

Sounds promising..let’s just hope though that service is better than the quality of their website which currently is rather sh*t even by 1990’s standards.

Fly Go Air

Seriously guys…if you want to come across as professional then best you don’t hire a toddler to create your website hey. Get someone on that.

And now let’s have a chat about the whole free flight thing. Why are there quotation marks around the word ‘free’? In the above pic there top right, where it says ‘free’ VIP card. And also here…

Fly Go Air

Ah ..i see in the small print there that the free flights you’re talking about are valid for one way only.

So it’s not a completely free flight then..more like 50% off return flights? Unless i wanna fly somewhere and not come back.

Good start Fly Go-Air…oh and can someone explain the name too.

This is absolutely ridiculous! Those terms and conditions look like they’ve been written by a Grade 7 English pupil!

And that logo…..HORRENDOUS!!!!! It’s like Photoshop CS1 going on there!

Ok, I DEFINITELY won’t be flying with these guys.

Even if they offer a one way return to nowhere.
