Maloof Money Cup world skateboarding championships comes to SA – R4 million in prizes

R4 million in cash and prize money…yes that is what’s up for grabs at the Maloof Money Cup SA world skateboarding championships being held in Kimberly from the 28-30 September 2012. Seriously, if your an amateur or pro skateboarder then you should already be planning on how you’re gonna get there.

It’s the second year now that the event is being held in SA and the event  will feature some of the top skateboarders from around the world on the magnificent street and vert sections of a world class state-of-the-art course.  Top professional contenders as well as SA amateurs will battle it out for the world champion titles in the various disciplines.

Last year’s event was a huge success with thousands of spectators and skateboarding lovers rocking up for the the three-day event hosted at the Kimberley Maloof Skate Plaza in Kimberly, making a significant economic impact on the regional economy.

Ya..those pro skaters are lucky i wasn’t there. I can totally ollie higher than all of them.
