So you all remember that show that was filmed in Cape Town about the 4 American girls who leave the US to come and work here…well Clifton Shores is finally being aired tomorrow night, Tuesday 21 August, at 9pm on DStv channel Vuzu.

Here’s a sneak preview of the first episode.

Keen to see how it turns out and i’m sure many of you Cape Town folks are eager so how the city is represented. There was initially lots of critisism and eyerolling following the first promo video that was released, but i said after seeing the newer version that we should be stoked that Cape Town is the backdrop.

And the girls are rather easy on the eye so i’m looking forward to seeing some Cape Town magic and maybe a few catfights…you can see the full cast with pics HERE.

Here’s the full promo video for the show.

    Good times.

C’mon Savage! This kind of television is pretty much as trashy and crap as it gets. The collective IQ’s of the cast is the same as my basset hounds’ . Yes its in Cape Town and all that, but seriously dude – it truly is bottom feeding at its worst. Just thinking of someone like that Snooki tart coming out of this series gives me a nose bleed.

Quote of the show…. According to the intro to Cape Town in the show the girls will be living on the other side of the mountain where the beautiful people live. This was revealed during a painful drive through a township where one of the girls asked if the cow on the side of the road was a pet. So far Cape Town has been painted in a fabulous light. Where the wealthy are beautiful and everyone else well is just everyone else. What a sad sad representation. Cape Town is apparently full of shallow assholes who only live to party and drive Ferraris. Whatever the socioeconomic problems Cape Town and South Africa have, and there are many, shows like this that promote lavish lifestyles of the rich and snooty are absolutely asinine and are a horrible representation of a city with so much to offer despite its problems. I think my nose is bleeding with Andrew’s but i also have to change clothes after I vomited all over myself.
