Shark Week on the Discovery Channel is currently on the go in the US and of course South Africa will no doubt once again feature prominently and already talk is centered around the Air Jaws series and the new installment called Air Jaws Apocalypse filmed off Cape Town.
Here’s some footage of a massive 4 meter shark called Colossus breaching off Seal Island in False Bay.

I just watched Air Jaws at Dish Online and that is the biggest shark I have ever seen. The guy sitting behind me on the bus even gasped when he looked over at me watching Colossus. That thing probably weighs more than my truck. I did some photography before I started working at Dish and I can honestly say this is footage is on its own level. Chris Fallows and his team are crazy because I would never be able to get that close and hold a camera still. Thanks for the video by the way.
