AC/DC – Thunderstruck live at Donington in 1991 [video]
Posted by on Mar 30th, 2012

I’ve been saving today’s Friday morning music post for a rainy day and since it is raining in Cape Town i may as well throw it out now since it will make your day in the office a tad less miserable and put everyone in good mood. That or at the very least it will wake them the f**k up if you turn up the volume.

It’s the second time AC/DC has made an appearance on a Friday morning and with good reason. They are the epitomy of old-school-ass-kicking who-the-f**k-is-Justin-Bieber music. And the performance you’re gonna see today is a perfect example of a band making nearly a 100 000 people lose their sh*t with just an intro.

And how’s this intro…probably one of the most recognisable beginnings to a song ever. And having the guitarist nail it dressed as a school boy is next level when that phrase wasn’t even invented yet.

Here’s AC/DC performing Thunderstruck live at Donington in 1991.

All sorts of awesome right there.

Just look how many people were there.

Bang..put that in your pipe and smoke it.
