R6 million French tourism campaign effs up and uses image of Llandudno beach in Cape Town [pic]
Posted by on Mar 28th, 2012

I was gonna share this yesterday, but Life is Savage was undergoing some maintainance so i didn’t get an opportunity, but it’s still worthwhile sharing since it involves making fun at the French for being dumbasses after they spent £500,000 on an tourism campaign promoting the beauty of the Northern France coast in a bid to attract more Brits to the region only to find out that the beautiful beach scene they used in 23 posters on the London underground is actually a pic of Llandudno beach in Cape Town.

Give the creative agency responsible for this costly little eff up a standing slow clap.

Come and Play in Cape Town.

Bravo French tourism…bravo.
