Nice and early Friday morning music post, but it will put you in a good mood for the rest of the day…especially if you crank up the volume and sing the chorus at the 1.50 mark as loud as you possibly can. Wake up all the f**king neighbours kinda loud.
Bon Jovi are one of those bands who seemed to have suffered a tad from what i call the U2 syndrome. People absolutely lost their sh*t when they first arrived on the scene then they changed their appearance and music (they even tried some dumbass country kak) to fit in with the mainstream and fans felt they sold out…well that’s what i thought anyway. It does a rockstar no good when you start preaching like a self-righteous twat….ask Bono, he knows all about that.
No matter..their early stuff most certainly deserves to be be put into the old school classic category.
Here’s Bon Jovi performing Livin’ On A Prayer live at Wembley in 1995. I don’t care where you are..i wanna hear you singing the chorus all the way from my apartment in Sea Point.
See..told you that would put you in a good mood. Now you gonna have that song in your head the whole day.
