Posted by on Jan 16th, 2012

UPDATE: video footage of Jeb Corliss crashing below.

Remember the other day i told you that the legendary wingsuit specialist Jeb Corliss jumped off Table Mountain HERE…well he jumped again this morning and it has been confirmed that he has broken both his legs during his flight. And on top of it he is likely to be fined and charges may even be laid against him by the Table Mountain National Park for jumping without a permit.

Whoever said break-a-leg before he jumped is feeling lank kak right now.

That’s a new pic of Jeb Corliss in action on Table Mountain. Can see my apartment i think…if you zoom in about 3 million times.

Anyways, here’s what they had to say on The Big Issue.

“Table Mountain National Park officials will fine and possibly even lay a charge against internationally renowned base jumper, Jeb Corliss, for jumping off Table Mountain without a permit earlier today. Corliss broke both legs and sustained a neck injury in today’s failed jump.

The City’s Emergency Medical Service (EMS) confirmed a badly injured Corliss was airlifted from the foot of the right face on the mountain, near a popular hiking trail and has since been admitted to Chris Barnard Hospital for further treatment. [Big Issue]

As soon as there’s video footage i’ll upload it.

Hopefully he’s not badly injured and makes a speedy recovery.

And here’s another pic of Jeb in action on Table Mountain via his Facebook page HERE.

Will keep you updated.
