Are you one of those tools who still thinks that the Power Balance Bracelet on your wrist is making you run faster, jump higher or fart louder? Well then listen up my little gullible douchepie.

The makers of the Power Balance Bracelet have filed for bankruptcy after having to settle a $57 million class action law suit for false advertising.

“The company behind the recently crowned Power Balance Pavilion has filed for bankruptcy, according to court papers.

The bankruptcy filing come after the company apparently agreed to a $57 million settlement over a class-action lawsuit that was filed in January.

The lawsuit claimed the company misled consumers to believe that the hologram-embedded bracelets and necklaces were scientifically proven to improve athletic performance.” [CBS]

Are you still wearing yours?

Nice one…you look awesome.

I had one tested on my using kinesiology, and at least that test was very impressive. What I am saying here. it impressed me, because if kinesiology is a valid checking mechanism to prove the validity of the wristband, then it did indeed work.

Just my 0.02
