Is your news feed being filled with porn or pics of graphic violence and animal abuse? Well if it is then you’re likely the target of spam because your dumbass clicked on some dodgy link. I havn’t seen anything on my news feed, but apparently hundreds of Facebook users are reporting random pornographic images showing up over the last couple of days. So much so that some technology websites are wondering if Facebook has been hacked.

Bet you go look at your Facebook homepage to see if that pic is real.

I honestly tried to find a screenshot of an example of  a news feed flooded with porn, but there is nada. This is the damn internet..surely if the problem exists then someone woulda taken a screenshot.

None-the-less, the problem is being widely reported.

“They appear as updates on your news feed, but they’re attributed to users who have nothing to do with their being posted.

The pictures are REALLY graphic — a closeup of a woman fingering herself, an erect dick, etc.

Facebook seems to be at a loss as to how to stop this from happening. It’s kind of funny, but also scary when you’re at work and your boss walks past your computer just as a giant cock appears on your screen.” [Gawker]

Other websites are even reporting that the cause of the porn spam is a hack from Anonymous.

“The attack is exploiting the new photo-enhanced layout of the website, which now places full images in the newsfeed of users when a friend comments on a photograph – even if it is to detail their distaste or disgust, it forces the photograph onto the news feeds of their friends.

The attack on the website has been linked by many to the online hacker group ‘Anonymous’ who in August made threats of shutting down the social networking site for apparent grievances over the monetization and distribution of personal information.” [examiner]
