Queen: Live Aid performance at Wembley in front of 72 000 fans [HQ video]

Prepare yourself for 25 minutes of awesome.

The Friday morning music post today is the longest video i’ve ever posted, but do yourself a favour and press play because it’s totally worth it. On 13th July 1985 two concerts called Live Aid were held simultaneously in UK and the USA. It was organised by Bob Geldof to raise funds for the famine in Ethiopia. Many bands played that day, but it was Freddie Mercury and Queen that had the 72 000 fans going befuk.

It’s no surprise that many people in the music industry regard Queen’s performance at Live Aid in Wembley Stadium as the greatest live performance in the history of rock music.

The guy was a legend. Every modern day singer can sit down and shut the f**k up because they will never come close that.

Wish i was there that day.
