Blackberry Photo Editor Ultimate app now available…FREE
Posted by on Oct 25th, 2011

After the whole Blackberry service outage a couple of weeks back i told you that RIM were making up for your loss by giving away $100 worth of premium apps. I listed the available ones HERE and been patiently waiting for the Photo Editor Ultimate which was released today and is now available for free. It looks like a pretty decent photo editor that allows Blackberry users to crop, resize, rotate, add effects and filters etc to photos

So i decided to head on over to Blackberry App World on my phone and search for “Photo Editor Ultimate”. No dice. The search returned no results for that application. So i went to check via my internet browser instead and sure enough there it was.

There’s an option to open the download in Blackberry App World so i clicked that and it takes you directly to the app.

Now here’s where i start bitching and moaning because it said “This application is not available on your device or for your carrier”.

Say what now ? What kind of f**kery is this? It says my 8900 is a supported device and South Africa is a supported country.

So i sent a mate the link who’s also on Vodacom and asked him to try and of course it worked fine on his Blackberry Torch. So right now i’m pretty bleak and hoping i’m not the only one with this issue. Hopefully one of you geeky people will figure it out and let me know how i too can join the hipster brigade and make my photo’s look all retro and sh*t.

So here’s what you do… if you’re viewing this post on your Blackberry then click HERE and it should take you directly to the Photo Editor Ultimate app. If you’re using a computer then click HERE for more info.

Lemme know how it works out please.
