Listen to this BBC interview asking Oscar Pistorius if he’s “an inconvenient embarrassment”…he storms out [audio]

Fresh from his heroic performance at the World Championships, Oscar Pistorius has walked out of a BBC radio interview after being asked if he considered himself “an inconvenient embarrassment” to SA authorities and the IAAF.

Here’s the audio of the pompous c*cktonsil interviewing Oscar Pistorius just moments before he walks out.

Amateur hour over at the BBC.

What do you reckon..was that a legitimate question or a deliberate low blow?

Definately an insult and I think he was trying to see how far he could push Oscar before he got a rise out of him, to no effect. Oscar did the right thing. No doubt it will be blown out of the water by the Brit media, but then again, what isn’t?

He is definitely a c*cktonsil as you put it. Using the words “inconvenient embarrassment” was wrong. I get his point that there’s something to be said about Oscar creating a new dilemma for athletics and he does make it difficult, but he worded it like a d**s. Ironically, the comment was probably a bit of an um….inconvenient embarrassment really.

What an embarressment for the BBC to have such an unproffessional broadcaster in their employ. Oscar Pistorius has conducted himself as such an incredible gentleman, and incredible athlete over all these years, showing such determination over the odds, and all this man from the BBC can do, is try and belittle him.

Congratulations Oscar on being the better man, in keeping your cool, and having the manners (which is how we South Africans are brought up), to just walk away from people such as these, rather than entertain them.
