“Large Hardon Collider”…Daily Telegraph typo is not about me
Posted by on Mar 23rd, 2010

The Daily Telegraph last Friday posted a truly magnificent spelling error by incorrectly spelling the name of the world’s biggest particle accelerator in Switzerland.

The author of the article needs to get an award for this outstanding journalistic cockup (oh im sorry, did i just pun that in the face).

hadron collider

The correct spelling is The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) and  the Telegraph immediately corrected the mistake, but not before some chap captured the screenshot HERE.

It’s not the first time the error has occured with the New York Times doing the same back in 2008.

Its like that time Chris sent me an sms to meet him at that sushi restaurant in Mouille Point above New Port Deli:

“ wanna come to Wakme”

Still not sure if it was a genuine spelling error though.

[thanks Dean]
